2. STEP-BY-STEP
1. cover the eyes with paper towels or cloths
2. put the fursuit head in water and gently pour water on it from a cup (avoid eyes area)
3. Put detergent or your choice: little bit in the water, little bit on the head
4. scrub the inside of the head, mouth, high sweat areas, exterior of the head. You can use a sponge, cloth or just your own hands.
5. Rinse off the fursuit
6. Wash the fursuit again with clean water, no detergent
7. Rinse off the fursuit again
8. Hang it to dry or put in a ventilated space. Do not use hot hair dryer to dry the fursuit, that will damage the fur.Note:
Fursuits without air vents take 48 hours to dry
Fursuits with air vents take 24 hours to dry. The time also depends on the weather (you can leave the fursuit to dry under the sun), fursuit size.

3. KEEP IN MIND
Fursuit heads made by ThoseAnthroCreatures are NOT machine washable if the eyes are not removable. Any other parts are safe to wash in the washing machine.
Remember that I am a still learning as I go and some flaws may occur after washing. However it should not be anything major and can be fixed with glue or by sewing. Otherwise DM me with a photo of the damage and together we will solve the problem.

GENERAL CARE
1. Wear a balaclava, It acts as a barrier between your head and the fursuit head, absorbing sweat and oils. Helps keep the inside of the fursuit head cleaner for longer.
2. Fursuit spray. Desinfects the fursuit head which once again, keeps the suit cleaner for longer.
3. Keep in a dry space. Prevents mold from growing inside the head.4. You can use silica gel packets (moisture absorbers) to help keep the inside of the head stay less damp after suiting. Same can be done for other fursuit parts such as paws, feet, arm sleeves, etc.
